SmartFax software enables users to Send, Receive, Scan, Broadcast, Organize faxes. Simple, photo-realistic interface lets you fax from any Windows application. You can fax by printing, typing into the QuickFax interface, or by simply dragging a file over a picture of a fax machine that appears on your desktop. Cover Page Editor lets you select from among several professionally designed cover pages or create your own. Included Fax Editor lets you sign and annotate your faxes electronically. Scan&Fax function lets you scan, annotate, fax hardcopy documents or book pages. Notification and forwarding rules ensure that you don't miss important faxes. Fax Scheduler lets you save money on long-distance rates by scheduling your faxes to be sent during off hours. SmartFax is the only software in its category that is able to synchronize directly with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express (Outlook / Express not required). Outlook users can fax using their existing Address Book and Contacts lists. Supports Outlook groups for fax broadcasting. Incoming faxes will appear directly in the Outlook InBox. Other key features include multiple fax attachments, instant preview, auto-printing of incoming faxes. Includes FineReader Optical Character Recogniton Engine. Compatible with most fax modems. "What A Joke" - KG [January 3, 2005] Product Rating: 1/5
This is one of thoses products that are a disgrace for any software developer who strives for quality and workmanship. It does not install correctly and does NOT uninstall at all. Once it is in your system and you are not very experienced, it will haunt you forever. I used "System Restore" to get rid off it.

"SmartFax 2000" - NJR [July 20, 2004]
This software is terrible. It would not set up correctly. It wanted me to change setting in Outlook which didn't exist. There is no tech support. A complete waste of money.

Not sure how good this software is. I installed the trial and it force installed C-Dilla. I uninstalled the program and ran Spybot to get rid of C-Dilla and that was that. Do NOT appreciate C-Dilla on my system.
