"Disappointed with WorkgroupShare" - Don [January 8, 2004] Product Rating: 1/5
After unsuccessfully attempting to install WorkgroupShare 1.3 we tried to avail ourselves of the 30 day trial period and get our money back. To date Softalk has yet to respond to any of our inquiries. The product is poorly documented and supported. There is no guarantee that it will work or even install successfully despite Softalks assurances of the efficacy of their revisions. I am not incline to every purchase another product of any kind from Softalk.
"WorkgroupShare" - Les Vaughn [October 13, 2003] Product Rating: 4/5
Am 4 days into the trial version of this program and it appears it is the perferct answer to my small Win98SE peer-to-peer within my office. Have had to be persistent in the installation as the documentation is not very clear in some areas but we seem to be up/running and sharing information at this point.
Have had one small problem with an ever-increasing SQL.LOG file and have emailed support to see what the options are with it. Otherwise, looks like I will be purchasing the program within the next few weeks....

"First impressions" - Matt Eberly [September 29, 2003]
I installed WorkGroupShare this morning after stumbling across it last night - its very small (<3mb), easy to install and rather simple to admin.
I added a few clients and a shared public calendar and it worked very well - I was really impressed. I've been dragging my feet not wishing to install Exchange and was all set to do so till I found this late last night.
So far, the organization where I installed it is very happy with the performance and ease of use. We are both hoping for some additional features. I realize this is 1.0 RC4 - but somethings mentioned on their web site are missing (No Access control and Web-Clients)
Documentation is rather spotty but I just emailed support so I hope they respond in a timely manner.
