We had various problems with this software, distribution lists changed, problems with inserting documents into emails - caused far to many problems so deinstalled.

This product actually worked fine for 9 months when running Exch 2003, SP1. After I put SP2 on, I got inetinfo.exe crashes left and right - Problem w/ their DLL mfsink.dll. Had to disable...
"should be removed from site" - Steve [March 17, 2006] Product Rating: 1/5
I tried this software on Exchange 2003. I am sorry I didn't read these comments first. The server nearly crashed and it took 5 minutes just to send an internal email. Luckily I removed it before it damaged the server.
"MailDisclaimer" - IT Consultant [March 14, 2006] Product Rating: 1/5
This product causes XML database corruption and kills the smtp component. We had to constantly reboot the Exchange server due to the Queue filling up and not sending out emails. stay away from this product.
"MailDislaimer" - Michael Hoja [May 4, 2005] Product Rating: 1/5
I fully concur with Clive's assessment of MailDisclaimer as it did exactly the same to our Exchange 2003 server, but a little bit worse. After installing it, it worked fine but after a few days users in the organisation began receiving other peoples emails whom they never knew! The problems then got worse. The Veritas backups of the Information Store began failing with "Corrupt Database or Element". I tried everything to repair the damage to the Information Store .ebds but no change.
Finally I uninstalled the MailDisclaimer software and the emails stopped behaving strangely. I had to run a hard repair on the Exchange Databases that thankfully resulted in no loss of data.
No one should even attempt to install this software if you want a corrupt Exchange Server Database!
"MailDIsclaimer" - Clive Gamble [April 20, 2005] Product Rating: 1/5
We put Softalk Maildisclaimer on our Exchange 2003 server and it bought it to its knees. Continual errors with inetinfo.exe, internal mail taking an hour or more to be sent (shows as sent but takes an age to arrive with the recipient). Disabled it and rebooted the server and all the problems disappeared. We have (obviously) uninstalled it now..
