MailMax 5.0 for Windows 2000/XP/NT4 is an award-winning, high performance, scalable email server that supports SMTP, IMAP4 and POP3 protocols. A multithreaded application, with multiple CPU support, MailMax 5.0, highly expandable, is driven by an industry standard Microsoft SQL 2000 database (bundled free with MailMax 5), and provides you with speed, security and reliability. MailMax’s new TCP/IP GUI allows server administration from any Internet connected server and lets you "SPY" and monitor (complete with live graphs) your server activity remotely from any Windows desktop. The new ‘housekeeping’ feature will keep your email server clean and free of clutter. It can delete old mail from inactive users based on activity or message age. The new WEB Admin module written in ASP.NET, allows you to define domain administrators so they can maintain their own accounts and a host of other user options. Secure and versatile, MailMax 5.0 provides superior anti-spamming options: Content filters work on the system level, domain level, as well as the user level. MailMax gives you a choice to implement many of the industry leading virus software packages. We provide customizable virus notification which is imbedded into the receiver’s email message notifying that a virus was found and cleaned. Optionally, a customizable message will be sent to the original sender of the virus.
