eDock Server is a secure document server that provides access from anywhere using a web browser. eDock Server functions similar to a file server with complete user rights, group management and file permissions. This solution also eliminates the problem of distributing confidential files by e-mail by controlling access to sensitive documents. Web based administration provides complete control over user and group rights along with file/folder permissions. All communication TO and FROM eDock Server is encrypted. All documents are stored in an encrypted SQL database. Three encryption methods, including industry standard 128-bit DES encryption, provide flexibility between performance and security.
