OctaGate works like a switchboard for HTTP traffic. Incoming requests are scanned for their destination. OctaGate then creates a pipe or tunnel between the requested server and the client. OctaGate can host any number of servers behind a single IP and port. The requested path directs the requests. OctaGate also supports compression of outbound traffic even if the webserver does not.
