Backup for workgroups is an easy to use backup software solution for small and medium-sized businesses which allows administrators to backup Exchange Server, Active Directory and MS SQL Servers. Backup one or more Windows computers to a disk-based Data Repository that can store data across multiple hard drives.

Backup for workgroups offers an easy to use interface through which backups can be scheduled to automatically run at a preset time and frequency. Quickly perform on-demand backups and view reports and Message Log for detailed information on backup runs. Restoring data from backups is quick, easy and flexible, offering a platform with a choice of four restoration options: Selected Files, Roll Back, Undelete and Disaster Recovery. Easily restore security settings and original folder paths – great for servers.

I've been evaluating backup software for our company for four months now. BFW is the best product that I've come across so far. Compression, encryption, bare-metal restore, runs as a service enabling after hour backups, choose file to or not to back up... and on and on.

More folks should take a serious look at this product. Why Veritas and CA can't employ all of these components and do so in an 8MB program is beyond me. This is a simple, young, well thought out program that definately gets my vote.
