Kaspersky SMTP-Gateway is a full-scale mail relay. All traffic passing through the gateway undergoes antivirus scanning for malicious programs, protecting the integrity of your network. Developed in accordance with IETF RFC standards, the solution also protects against hacker attacks and spam. All elements of mail messages are scanned for viruses. The program offers the option of additional filtration rules, inlcuding filtration by attached file name and MIME type. Infected, suspicious, damaged and password protected message attachments and message bodies will all be detected. The inbuilt KeepUp2Date module ensures automatic downloading of program components and the hourly updates to antivirus databases provided by the Kaspersky Virus Lab.
