Role Enforcer implements EmpowerID's Role-Based Entitlement Management platform with system and resource agnostic modules to discover, administer, audit, and enforce a single role-based authorization model across different enterprise systems regardless of the technology. EmpowerID's RBAC system automates the granting of application and resource access based upon a person's job function and where they work within an organization. As these changes, unneeded access is removed and new access granted without requiring manual administrative intervention. This "state management" by policy for entitlements prevents the accumulation of privileges over time that can lead to disastrous security breaches.
Role Enforcer modules extend this management by policy to inventory, discover, and manage permissions for specific types of protected enterprise resources. Each system typically has its own idiosyncratic security model and a set of security user interfaces. Role Enforcer bypasses the need to learn this model and use these interfaces by centralizing security on the shared role-based model and translating the results into a format that the system understands and can implement. Many systems can communication with EmpowerID in real-time for external authorization but EmpowerID also supports traditional systems upon which the policies and rules must be translated and pushed down.

Active Administrator is an Active Directory management and auditing solution that takes over where the management tools supplied with Windows leave off. Active Administrator, the Active Directory solution from ScriptLogic provides administrators the ability to establish, view and enforce delegated security throughout Active Directory management, perform Group Policy management including Group Policy reporting and Resultant Set of Policies (RSoP) as well as auditing and reporting of changes within Active Directory.
NetIQ Group Policy Administrator is a solution for planning, controlling, troubleshooting and reporting on Group Policy changes. .
Key Features and Benefits: Offers secure offline repository by reducing the number of privileged accounts, offering secure offline Group Policy management without having to provide permissions within Active Directory; Provides workflow and delegation model by allowing you to push the administration of Active Directory lower in the organization to safely involve all Group Policy stakeholders; Reduces error risk when configuring GPOs by enabling you to configure settings once, and then replicate and apply those settings to GPOs in other domains and even other forests. This feature guarantees that your settings are configured correctly and reduces the risk of accidentally misconfiguring or losing a setting; Provides analysis and simulates the effect of modifying the Group Policy environment using online Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) without having to first deploy the modified GPO.
Group Policy Manager offers Group Policy Object (GPO) management capabilities, so organizations can deploy and manage GPOs for better security and control of their IT infrastructure.
Built to augment the Microsoft GPMC, Group Policy Manager provides GPO management with additional features such as version control, offline GPO editing, enhanced RSoP reporting, archival and restoration, templates, change notification and approval, quick rollback and a test framework that allows you to securely test changes to GPOs in the lab before implementing into production.
